DESCRIPTION:Après une solide formation humaniste à Aix-en-Provence, où il se liera d'amitié avec Emile ZOLA, Paul CEZANNE arrive à Paris en 1861, où il suit les cours de l'Académie Suisse, étudie les grands maîtres du Louvre, et il participe activement aux discussions du Café Guerbois.\nAprès une phase impressionniste (surtout développée auprès de PISSARO), il s'oriente vers la recherche de la construction du motif au moyen d'une touche large et colorée. Sa vision personnelle va influencer de futurs jeunes artistes, en particulier les Cubistes et les Fauves.\n
